All on 4 dental implants in Greenwich
All on 4 replaces a full upper or lower arch of teeth with a fixed bridge supported by four dental implants. It is designed for people who have lost most of their teeth, whose remaining teeth are failing, or who are struggling with a loose denture.
Your All on 4 treatment at Peninsula Dentists is planned and carried out by Dr Davinder Kalsi BDS BEng MSc (Dental Implants).
Who All on 4 may suit
You may be suitable if you have lost most of the teeth in one or both jaws, your remaining teeth are badly broken, decayed or loose from gum disease, or your denture moves when you eat or speak.
Not everyone is suitable. We check your gum health, general health, medication, smoking and bone levels with a 3D CT scan. Individual implants, an implant-retained denture or a conventional denture may suit you better, and we will explain each option.
Your treatment journey
1. Consultation and 3D scan: we examine your mouth, take a CT scan and talk through your options, costs and timescales. You receive a written treatment plan.
2. Surgery and temporary teeth: any failing teeth are removed and four implants are placed. Where the implants are stable enough, a fixed temporary bridge is usually fitted on the day or within a few days. If immediate teeth are not appropriate, we agree an alternative plan with you.
3. Healing: over the following months the implants bond with the bone. You follow a softer diet at first and attend reviews so we can check healing.
4. Your final bridge: once healing is complete, usually after three to six months, we fit your final, stronger bridge, shaped and shaded to suit your smile.
Risks and aftercare
Like any surgery, implant treatment carries risks, including swelling, infection and, occasionally, an implant that does not bond and needs replacing. Smoking and gum disease increase these risks. Your new teeth need daily cleaning, regular hygiene visits and implant reviews to stay healthy long term.
All on 4 and the alternatives
Single
Implants

Single dental implant is used to restore a damaged or missing tooth.
Multiple
Implants

Multiple implants offer people, who are missing more than one of their teeth, the opportunity to restore full form and function to their mouths.
All on 4 implants

Fixed full-arch teeth on just 4 implants, from £12,500 per arch. A full set of teeth that does not come out – ideal for replacing loose dentures or failing teeth.
Teeth In
A Day

Full mouth restoration for people missing many teeth. 4–6 dental implants are placed in the upper or lower jaw to support a full set of fixed teeth, often fitted on the same day.
