What We Collect
We hold your contact details, your medical and dental history, clinical records, photographs and X-rays, payment details, and anything you send us by message, WhatsApp included.
Why We Use It
Your information lets us provide your dental care and get in touch about appointments and enquiries. We also use it to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, and to process payments and any finance applications you ask us to make.
Photographs and WhatsApp
Any photo you send us counts as clinical information. We transfer it to your secure patient record, then delete it from the messaging system. It is never used publicly unless you give separate written consent.
How Long We Keep It
Clinical records are kept in line with General Dental Council and Care Quality Commission guidance in England. If you do not go on to become a patient, we delete your enquiry details.
Your Rights
You have the right to see the information we hold about you and to have it corrected; in some cases, you can also ask for it to be deleted. Contact the practice manager at Chandlers Avenue or reception@peninsuladentists.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
