The short answer

How Much Are Dental Implants in Greenwich and SE London?

Included: 3D planning, a MegaGen AnyRidge implant inserted through a surgical guide, the abutment and crown, reviews while it heals and a five-year guarantee for non-smokers who keep up three-monthly hygiene visits. A CT scan for a single implant is £120. For a whole jaw, fixed teeth start at £9,300 per arch across four pathways, each including the CT scan and 3D planning, while a clip-in implant denture starts at £8,500 per jaw. The Short Answer

Expect to pay from £2,250 for one tooth replaced with an implant and crown here.2 Split into its parts, that is from £1,500 for placing the implant and from £750 for the crown it carries. For a whole jaw, fixed full-arch teeth start at £9,300 an arch, and a clip-in implant denture at £8,500 a jaw. Your own figure is set out in a written plan before treatment and does not rise once you have started.

The rest of this guide lists every implant fee we charge, explains what is inside each one, and gives you the questions that make any quote comparable, whether it comes from a Greenwich practice, a central London clinic or one overseas.

What the Single Implant Fee Includes

Nothing else is needed to get from first plan to finished tooth:

  • Planning on your CT scan, so the implant's position is decided in 3D and the bone confirmed in advance
  • The implant itself, a MegaGen AnyRidge with the CleanImplant Trusted Quality seal, inserted using a MegaGen R2 guide printed from the plan
  • The abutment, which joins implant and crown, plus a crown made from an iTero Element scan and colour-matched to your teeth
  • Healing reviews across the usual 8 to 12 weeks
  • A five-year guarantee for non-smokers who keep up three-monthly hygiene visits

Your implant is planned and placed by Dr Imran Riaz, an oral surgeon with an MClinDent from the Eastman Dental Institute and more than 13 years dedicated to oral surgery.

What Can Be Added

Many patients need none of the following; your consultation will make clear whether any apply.

ExtraFee
CT scan (almost every single implant needs one)£120
Bone graft for a thin ridgeFrom £700
Bigger bone graftFrom £998
Removing the old tooth firstFrom £150
Surgical removalFrom £295
A stand-in tooth during healing, if wantedFrom £600 (simple denture) or £550 (bonded bridge)
IV sedation£500 a session
Each 30 minutes of sedation beyond that£250

Full-arch patients do not pay separately for the CT scan; it is part of every pathway fee, and so is routine grafting with Staged, Same-Day and Premium. To find out when grafting is and is not necessary, read our bone grafting guide.

How Greenwich and SE London Compare

Practices around Greenwich and SE London we checked in October 2026, an area stretching from Blackheath and Charlton over to Canary Wharf, publish these implant fees:

TreatmentLocal range we foundPeninsula Dentists
One implant and crown£1,995 to £3,800, mostly £2,700 to £2,850From £2,250
Fixed teeth, one archAbout £9,000 to £14,000From £9,300, CT scan included

Be wary of headline prices around £1,200 to £1,750: several of those we found pay for the implant only, and the crown is added later. Our fee for one implant is near the bottom of the local band even though the crown and guided surgery are built in. Looking wider, Greater London price guides put fixed full-arch teeth at £12,000 to £18,000 an arch, and central London clinics frequently charge more again, up to £25,000 or beyond. Our lowest arch fee, the Healed Foundation pathway, includes the scan, 3D planning, four implants and the permanent bridge; same-day fixed teeth come with our Same-Day and Premium pathways.

Full-Arch and Implant Denture Fees

There are two ways to replace a whole jaw of teeth, and most of the cost difference comes down to whether you can take the teeth out.

Fixed full-arch teeth, the treatment many people know as All-on-4, mean a one-piece bridge of 10 to 12 teeth screwed to implants. You pay per arch, and the price follows your pathway, which depends on where your mouth is starting from:

PathwayPer arch12 months at 0%
01 Healed Foundation: healed jaw, 4 implants, acrylic / PMMA bridge£9,300£775 a month
02 Staged Treatment: extractions, healing, then 4 implants£11,500£959 a month
03 Same-Day Fixed Teeth: between four and six implants, with fixed temporary teeth at surgery£13,500£1,125 a month
04 Premium Guided Zirconia: Same-Day plus a custom surgical guide and zirconia over titanium£14,950£1,246 a month

Each pathway covers your assessment, a CT scan with digital records, planning in 3D, your written plan, the surgery and bridge it lists, and reviews until you are finished, with a five-year guarantee for non-smokers who keep up three-monthly hygiene visits. Only Same-Day and Premium include fixed temporary teeth on surgery day, where the bone allows,1 and zirconia on a titanium bar can be added to Healed Foundation for £2,500. IV sedation with Dr Imran Riaz is £500 a session; larger bone grafts, sinus work and ongoing maintenance carry separate fees where needed. Both jaws on Healed Foundation total £18,600. For the terminology, read All-on-4 or full-arch implants; for the four pathways side by side, see our full-arch page.

A clip-in implant denture is a brand-new denture that fastens to two implants below or four above. It comes out for cleaning yet stays put while you eat and talk. Prices start at £8,500 a jaw, implants and denture both included. Whether it would suit you is covered on our implant-retained dentures page.

Implants Abroad

Turkish and other overseas clinics advertise full-arch implants for a fraction of what London practices charge, and some of their work is good. Much of the saving comes from speed: extractions, implants and final teeth compressed into one or two weeks, where a UK plan leaves months for healing. You rarely get a guarantee that can be honoured from SE London, and if a problem develops, you pay to have it fixed at a practice that never placed the implants.

Should something go wrong after treatment overseas, we will always examine it and help you. Be aware that putting it right often costs more than having it done well the first time. Before booking a trip, read our guide to dental treatment abroad.

Why Quotes Vary So Widely

Two quotes for apparently identical treatment can be far apart. Typically the gap comes from:

  • The implant brand. A system backed by decades of research costs a practice more than a budget copy. Get the brand name and check it.
  • Planning. CT scanning and a printed guide add cost but remove guesswork, and some quotes contain neither.
  • The team. Either one dentist with postgraduate implant training handles both surgery and crown, or a visiting surgeon places the implant and another clinician finishes it.
  • The crown. Its maker, its material, and whether the headline price includes it at all.
  • Aftercare. Reviews, a guarantee and a maintenance plan are either built in or missing.

Once the missing pieces are added, an implant advertised at about £1,500 can end up costing much the same as one quoted at £2,800.

Eight Questions That Make Quotes Comparable

  • Does the price include the crown, and the abutment beneath it?
  • Will a CT scan be used for planning, and is it in the fee?
  • What make of implant will I have?
  • Who will place it, how were they trained, and roughly how many have they placed?
  • Will the surgery be guided?
  • Is grafting likely, and at what cost?
  • What is the plan if the implant fails, and is the guarantee written down?
  • Will I have a fixed written fee before we begin?

Ask every practice the same eight so you can set the answers side by side. We answer all of them in your written plan, before any commitment.

Paying Monthly

Treatment costing £1,500 or more can be paid monthly through Chrysalis Finance, subject to status. Six- and twelve-month terms carry no interest. Terms up to 60 months are available at 14.9% APR representative, and a deposit is optional.

TreatmentFee, from12 months at 0%
One implant with its crown£2,250£188 a month
Clip-in implant denture, per jaw£8,500£709 a month

The monthly column is an illustration at 0% over a year.4 For longer terms, try the calculator on our finance page, which also shows the representative example.

Is an Implant Worth the Money?

No other replacement restores a root in the jawbone. Because of that, the bone stays in place instead of wasting away, as it gradually does beneath bridges and dentures, and the neighbouring teeth are not touched. Looked after well, an implant often lasts decades, while its crown, like any crown, may need replacing at some point between 10 and 15 years.

Set that against the alternatives. A three-unit bridge is from £1,650 (£550 per unit) and means cutting down two sound teeth. A small denture starts at £600 but can move, and will need relines and, in time, replacement. Over a twenty-year span the implant frequently costs least overall, and it is the closest of the three to a real tooth. The full comparison is in our guide to implant, bridge or denture.

Questions

Do implant consultations cost anything? No. When you book we hold a £40 deposit, which is returned once you have attended. If you need to cancel or rearrange, please tell us at least 48 hours ahead, because a missed appointment means the deposit is kept. You go home with a written plan and a fixed fee.
Why is the CT scan extra for a single implant? With single or multiple implants we charge £120 for the scan separately, since some people decide not to proceed, and you keep the scan either way. Full-arch patients pay nothing extra for it, because their CT scan is built into the arch fee.
Will I need a bone graft, and what does it cost? Many people do not. The CT scan reveals exactly how much bone you have. Where a graft is needed, it is from £700 for a small one with membrane or from £998 for a larger one, and it is itemised in your plan before you commit.
Can I spread the cost of implants?Yes. With Chrysalis Finance, treatment from £1,500 can be paid over 6 or 12 months at 0%, so an implant and crown comes to £188 a month across a year.4 You can also choose up to 60 months at 14.9% APR representative, subject to status.
Do membership plan patients pay less for implants? No. Our dental plans do not discount implant fees. What membership does give you is routine hygiene visits included in the monthly fee, and since our implant guarantee relies on regular hygiene, it remains a sensible way to look after implants for the long term.
What is covered by the implant guarantee?Every implant we place comes with a five-year guarantee for non-smokers who keep up three-monthly hygiene visits, and the terms are written into your consent form. The hygiene condition is there because healthy gum is the main thing that keeps an implant secure, year after year.
Will I be left with a gap while the implant heals? At the back of the mouth, often yes, and it rarely bothers anyone. For a front tooth, most people prefer a stand-in: a basic acrylic denture from £600 or a bonded bridge at £550. Dr Riaz will recommend one at your consultation.

This guide explains the options in general terms. Only an examination can tell you which of them suits your own teeth.
