Paying Monthly, Explained
How paying monthly works at Peninsula Dentists: the interest-free and longer options, example monthly figures, the application, and who it suits.
Can I Spread the Cost of Dental Treatment in Greenwich?
Yes. At Peninsula Dentists on Greenwich Peninsula, treatment costing between £1,500 and £25,000 can be paid in monthly instalments through Chrysalis Finance, subject to status. With the interest-free option, spread over 6 or 12 months, you repay exactly the treatment price; a longer agreement lasting as long as five years carries 14.9% APR representative but lowers each payment. A deposit of up to 50% is yours to choose. The online application comes after you've agreed your written plan and fixed fee, and we begin treatment when Chrysalis approves it.
The Two Ways to Pay Monthly
| Length | Interest | Best if you want |
|---|---|---|
| 6 or 12 months | None, 0% | To repay only the treatment price, in fewer, larger payments |
| Anywhere from 1 to 5 years | 14.9% APR representative | A smaller monthly amount spread over more time |
You can finance any treatment plan between £1,500 and £25,000 with Chrysalis Finance, subject to status. A deposit is up to you, to a maximum of half the treatment cost: put some down to borrow less, or nothing at all if you'd prefer to keep your savings intact. Your precise monthly figure comes from Chrysalis during the application.
Representative example: Total amount of credit £5,000. Total charge for credit £1,975.60. Total amount repayable £6,975.60, by 60 monthly payments of £116.26. Representative 14.9% APR. Based on treatment costing £5,000 with no deposit, repaid over 60 months. Acceptance is subject to status. Terms and conditions apply.
Treatments You Can Finance
Any treatment at Peninsula Dentists with a total between £1,500 and £25,000 qualifies. In practice that means larger plans such as:
- Dental implants: a single implant with its crown starts at £2,250, and each arch of full-arch implants at £9,3002
- Dentures held by implants, starting at £8,500 for each jaw
- Invisalign with Dr Pei, from £1,795 for Lite to £3,500 for Comprehensive, every package including refinements, Vivera retainers, whitening and a hygiene visit
- Bonding packages, the four-tooth option starting at £1,550 with whitening included
- Porcelain veneers, which start at £650 each, so a set of several soon qualifies
- Smile makeovers that bring several of these together
Smaller items under £1,500, such as one filling, a single crown or a whitening kit, are paid to the practice in the usual way.

Example Monthly Payments
The figures below assume 0% over 12 months with no deposit, which means the treatment price divided into twelve equal payments. Treat them as a guide only: Chrysalis Finance confirms your actual payment when you apply, and approval depends on status.
| Treatment | Fee | Roughly per month, 12 months at 0% |
|---|---|---|
| Six-tooth composite bonding with whitening | £2,350 | £1964 |
| Implant plus crown, one tooth, from | £2,250 | £1884 |
| Invisalign Lite, from | £1,795 | £1504 |
| Invisalign Comprehensive, from | £3,500 | £2924 |
| Full-arch implants, Healed Foundation pathway, per arch | £9,300 | £7754 |
Choose 6 months at 0% and each payment is about twice as much. Stretch it over a longer term and the monthly amount drops, but interest is added and the total repaid rises; the representative example above shows how much more a 60-month agreement costs overall.
Applying, Step by Step
- Settle your plan. Following your consultation, you receive a written treatment plan with a fixed fee that won't change once you've agreed to go ahead.
- Complete the Chrysalis application. It's a short form online. Fill it in at home, or we can sit with you and help at the practice.
- Receive a decision. Chrysalis Finance tells you whether you've been approved and confirms the monthly amount.
- Begin treatment. We book your treatment once the finance is in place.
Before applying, you can try different amounts and terms using the calculator on our finance page, which also links to Chrysalis Finance's secure application. Being subject to status means Chrysalis carries out its own checks, and it will explain these before you apply. Your credit agreement is with Chrysalis Finance rather than with us, so they handle questions about the agreement, and we handle everything about your treatment.
Interest-Free or Longer: Choosing Between Them
With 0%, you pay no more than the treatment itself costs, simply split into 6 or 12 instalments. Where that monthly sum is affordable, it's normally the best choice.
Longer agreements, lasting between one and five years at 14.9% APR representative, lower each payment and can bring a bigger plan, such as full-arch implants, within reach. The cost is interest: the total you repay goes up, and the longer the agreement runs, the more it grows.
On either option, putting down as much as 50% cuts the amount borrowed and the monthly payment. Whether you pay one is your call.
Other Ways to Keep Costs Manageable
Monthly finance is one tool among several:
- Free consultations for implants, Invisalign, composite bonding and whitening. We take a £40 deposit when you book and refund it once you've attended, so exploring your options costs nothing.
- Fixed fees in writing before treatment begins, so nothing changes halfway through.
- Dental plan members receive 10% off most private treatment, though extensive cosmetic work, implants and orthodontics are excluded. The lower-cost plan is £24.10 monthly, and our dental plans page has the details.
- Whitening is built into our Invisalign and composite bonding packages, so there's no separate bill for it.
- Staged treatment. Plenty of patients straighten or whiten first and complete the rest later, spreading the cost without borrowing.
Is Finance Right for You?
Finance works well once you've settled on a treatment and its fixed fee, and would rather budget for set monthly payments than pay a lump sum. The 0% terms do that at no extra cost, while the longer terms help with bigger plans where twelve payments would be too steep.
It isn't for everyone. If the monthly payment would leave you stretched, a smaller plan, treatment in stages or waiting a few months may be wiser, and we'll be candid about that. Falling behind on a credit agreement can harm your finances, so keep borrowing to an amount you can comfortably repay. Plans under £1,500 can't be financed, and approval is always subject to status. Still undecided? Raise it at your consultation, which you can book online, and you're never obliged to go ahead.
