What Invisalign Costs
The three Invisalign packages at Peninsula Dentists, exactly what each fee covers, which one your teeth are likely to need, and how to read a quote from anywhere else.
How Much Is Invisalign in Greenwich?
Invisalign at Peninsula Dentists on Greenwich Peninsula comes in three packages: Lite from £1,795, Moderate from £3,000 and Comprehensive from £3,500. The right one depends on how far your teeth need to travel, and each is all-inclusive: refinements, Vivera retainers, whitening, iTero scans, X-rays and a hygiene visit are all in the price, which is confirmed in writing before anything begins. Dr Pei Xian Chen plans and provides every case. The consultation is free with a £40 refundable deposit, and our group has been an Invisalign Diamond Apex Provider every year from 2022 to 2026, the top 1% of providers in Europe.
Invisalign Prices at Peninsula Dentists
| Package | Suits | From |
|---|---|---|
| Lite | Mild crowding or spacing, including teeth that have drifted since braces | £1,795 |
| Moderate | Moderate crowding, wider gaps or a mild bite problem | £3,000 |
| Comprehensive | Larger movements, usually across both arches, or bite correction | £3,500 |
What sets the price is the amount of tooth movement in your plan, not the number of appointments. Each Invisalign package covers the whole journey: iTero scans and X-rays, every aligner in the series, refinement aligners if the result needs fine-tuning, Vivera retainers, whitening and a hygiene visit. The figure in your written plan is the figure you pay, and it stays fixed once you've signed it.2
How Greenwich and SE London Prices Compare
Among the practices around Greenwich and SE London we checked in October 2026, published Invisalign prices ran from about £2,450 at the bottom to £4,950 at the top. The cheapest figures tended to be for a single arch, with some practices quoting per jaw from £1,450, and the typical full course sat at £3,300 to £3,500 for a Lite or single-arch case and £4,000 to £4,600 for comprehensive treatment. Extras are where quotes diverge: home whitening alone is advertised locally at £295 to £499, and retainers and refinements are often listed as separate charges.
Our range is £1,795 to £3,500 with all of that included, or from £150 a month over 12 months at 0%.4 Priced individually, the Vivera retainers, whitening and hygiene visit in your package would come to £799. Every figure is on our published fee list, so you can hold any other quote up against it. None of the local practices we looked at holds an Invisalign tier above Elite; our group has been Diamond Apex every year from 2022 to 2026.
Lite, Moderate or Comprehensive?
A free iTero Element scan with Dr Pei answers that in one visit.
Everything Your Package Includes
- iTero Element scan and your 3D simulation
- X-rays
- The full series of aligners for your package
- Refinement aligners, should any teeth need a final adjustment
- Vivera retainers when you finish
- Teeth whitening
- A hygiene visit with our hygienist
When you compare quotes, the two items to look hardest at are refinements and retainers. Refinements are the extra aligners a good proportion of patients need to bring the last one or two teeth into line, and retainers are the only thing standing between your finished smile and relapse. A practice that bills both separately can end up costing more than a higher headline price that includes them. Here, neither is an add-on.
The remaining items carry real value too. Taken on its own, a Classic Smile Clean with Stefanie Goodall is £99 and Boutique home whitening is £350, so the package buys you considerably more than the aligners.
Lite, Moderate or Comprehensive?
The three packages are defined by how much movement they're built for, which is why they differ in both price and duration.
- Lite, from £1,795. Mild crowding or small gaps, a slightly rotated tooth, or teeth that have moved since braces as a teenager. Often finished within six months or so.
- Moderate, from £3,000. More noticeable crowding or spacing, often involving both arches, or a mild bite discrepancy. Typically somewhere between six and twelve months.
- Comprehensive, from £3,500. Larger movements, bite correction and the more involved cases that aligners can still handle well. Usually 12 to 18 months.
There's no need to self-diagnose. As a rule of thumb, previous orthodontic treatment with a little relapse usually points to Lite, while teeth that have never been straightened and are visibly crowded tend to need Moderate or Comprehensive. The scan settles it.
Who Decides Which Package You Need?
Your teeth do, and Dr Pei reads them. Dr Pei Xian Chen, who plans and provides every Invisalign case at Peninsula Dentists and is currently studying for a Diploma in Aligner Orthodontics, examines your teeth and gums, scans them on the iTero Element and shows you a simulation of the likely result on your own face. The tooth-by-tooth plan that follows reveals how much movement is required, and that maps directly onto Lite, Moderate or Comprehensive. You receive the fee in writing and are under no pressure to proceed.
The appointment is free. A £40 deposit secures the slot and comes back to you after you attend. If anything needs attention before aligners can start, a filling or some gum treatment for instance, you'll hear about it at that visit rather than later.
How Long Will Treatment Take?
Lite cases can be done in a matter of months; Comprehensive cases generally run 12 to 18 months; most people land between 6 and 18. Reviews with Dr Pei fall every 6 to 8 weeks and are brief: he checks the teeth are tracking, looks at the attachments and gums, and gives you the next batch of aligners. Between reviews you move to a new aligner at home every one to two weeks.
The single biggest influence on finishing on schedule is wearing the aligners 20 to 22 hours a day. The simulation is a forecast rather than a guarantee, since teeth don't all respond identically, and that's precisely why refinements are built into the fee instead of being sold afterwards. For a picture of what the months in aligners are actually like, read our guide to Invisalign for adults.
Paying Monthly
All three packages clear the £1,500 minimum for Chrysalis Finance, so each can be spread over time, subject to status. Choose 0% over 6 or 12 months, or a longer term of up to 60 months at 14.9% APR representative, with an optional deposit of up to half the fee. The application is online and takes a few minutes once your plan is agreed. Terms and a representative example are on our finance page.
Two points worth knowing. Orthodontics is excluded from the 10% dental plan discount, so members and non-members pay the same package price. And since whitening is already in the package, there's no separate whitening bill to plan for.
| Package | From | Over 12 months at 0% |

Questions to Ask About Any Invisalign Quote
A headline figure tells you very little on its own. Whether you're comparing practices in Greenwich, Blackheath or Canary Wharf, put these questions to each one:
- Which package does the price buy, and what happens if my teeth need more aligners than it allows?
- Are refinements included, or billed per set?
- Are retainers included, and are they Vivera or a cheaper type?
- Does the fee cover the scan, X-rays and every review appointment?
- Is whitening part of the package?
- Who will plan and supervise my treatment, and how many aligner cases have they done?
- Will the fee be put in writing before I start, and can it rise?
For Peninsula Dentists, the answers are in your written plan: refinements, Vivera retainers, whitening, scans, X-rays and a hygiene visit are all inside the fee, Dr Pei plans and provides the treatment himself, and the price is locked once agreed. Our complete fee list is public for exactly this reason.
