Paying for Invisalign
Dr Pei Xian Chen explains how Invisalign is priced at our Greenwich Peninsula practice: three starting prices, the ways to spread them, everything the fee pays for, and what retainers cost once treatment is over.
How Is Invisalign Priced in Greenwich, and What Does the Fee Pay For?
Invisalign at Peninsula Dentists starts from £1,795 for Lite, and the two larger packages begin at £3,000 (Moderate) and £3,500 (Comprehensive). Those are guide prices: Dr Pei Xian Chen confirms your package and exact fee in a written plan after a free consultation and iTero Element scan. The fee covers X-rays and scans, refinement aligners, whitening, a hygiene visit and Vivera retainers, and any of the three can be spread with Chrysalis Finance, interest free if you repay over 6 or 12 months, subject to status.
Three Starting Prices
We price Invisalign as three packages, each shown on our fee list as a starting figure:
| Package | Guide price |
|---|---|
| Invisalign Lite | From £1,795 |
| Invisalign Moderate | From £3,000 |
| Invisalign Comprehensive | From £3,500 |
Which package applies to you, and the exact figure, are confirmed in a written treatment plan before anything starts.2 That happens at a free consultation, where Dr Pei Xian Chen makes sure your teeth and gums are healthy enough to start, records them with the iTero Element scanner and walks you through a simulation of how they could finish. A £40 deposit holds the appointment and is returned once you have attended. We ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange. If you miss the appointment without letting us know, the deposit is kept.
Spreading the Payments
Finance through Chrysalis is available on treatment from £1,500, which takes in all three Invisalign packages, subject to status. Settle on six or twelve months and you repay only the fee itself, because both of those terms are interest free. Terms running to 60 months reduce what goes out each month, though interest at 14.9% APR representative makes the overall amount larger. Some people prefer to pay part of the fee up front; that is optional, and capped at half.
You apply online once Dr Pei's written plan is agreed. Our finance page sets out the terms with a representative example, and our finance guide goes through the options in more detail.

A free consultation with Dr Pei gives you your package, a fixed fee and the monthly options to go with it.
What the Package Pays For
The fee is for the whole course, not only the aligners. Each package includes:
- X-rays, iTero Element scans and your 3D simulation
- every aligner your plan calls for
- extra aligners near the end if a tooth or two lags behind
- Boutique home whitening, £350 on its own
- a hygiene visit, where a Classic Smile Clean alone is £99
- Vivera retainers when treatment finishes
For comparison, our fee list prices three sets of Vivera retainers for both arches at £350. Your written plan lists everything that comes with your package, so nothing has to be added once treatment is under way.
Retainers Once You Finish
Retainers are what hold the result; without them, straightened teeth tend to wander. If your Vivera retainers are lost or worn out in later years, replacements cost £350 for three sets covering both arches, or £200 for three sets for one arch. A single Essix retainer is £214, and an Essix pair for top and bottom is £270.2 Our retainer guide explains how often to wear them.
Why the Reviews Happen in Person
Treatment usually runs for 6 to 18 months, and Dr Pei sees you every 6 to 8 weeks along the way to check that the teeth are tracking and to give you the next aligners. The practice is about ten minutes on foot from North Greenwich. That chairside supervision, together with a full examination and X-rays ahead of treatment, is what aligners sold by post generally go without, as our at-home aligner comparison explains.
The group Peninsula Dentists belongs to sits in Invisalign's Diamond Apex tier, and has done in each year from 2022 to 2026. The tier is drawn from the number of treatments carried out, and it places the group among Europe's top 1% of Invisalign providers. It measures volume; it is not a specialist qualification.

This guide explains the options in general terms. Only an examination can tell you which of them suits your own teeth.
